I started working for a small business in 2008 as a part-time office assistant, and in less than a year I was offered a full time position.  In 2015 the company relocated; therefore, my role for the company switched to a virtual assistant/office manager.  In the spring of 2020 the Covid-19 pandemic made the financial stability of many small businesses unsteady, and as a result of the financial uncertainty my position returned to part-time.
